Sponsorship
Sarah has been volunteering and fundraising since she was a young girl; from teaching blind children to swim to swimming a sponsored marathon at thirteen; from helping underprivileged kids with multiple sclerosis eat their lunch to organising gala dinners.
She worked in events and sponsorship management, planning and running international delegations and conferences but is now carving a new path in life following her love of research and writing. She wrote for online magazines when living in Australia and more recently won an award from the Pulitzer Centre for Reporting on Crisis. She currently researches for a journalism organisation in London.
She has always loved travelling and nature, her favourite adventure being to follow the route of one of her much-loved travel books into the depths of the Borneo rainforest to stay with indigenous tribes. She is extremely excited to be able to bring all her passions together in the Lifeline project whilst doing something she very much believes in – that the world needs help to survive after the destruction we have caused.
